Felt manufactory

Through our frequent trips to Nepal, we were able to make wonderful friendships in the country. One of them is to Madhav, we met him during a walk through the old town. He is a man with great visions and dreams. When he was barely twenty, he already wanted to integrate the women from Nepal into the working world. He founded a felt manufactory and hired his sister as a designer. His funny and hearty felt articles were enormously popular and he had to enlarge his factory continuously. In the meantime, he has been in business for 5 years and can hardly keep himself busy with orders. His most important point, however, remains the philosophy of offering young mothers a workplace where they are fairly employed despite having small children. Already last year, with our inputs and ideas, he was able to set up the first daycare center for children in the manufactory.
